I am a firm believer that anyone can take beautiful pictures. Because in truth, beauty is in the eye at the other end of the lens. I am a professional ballet dancer, and have devoted almost half of my life to dancing. I have always enjoyed taking pictures, and I feel that I have always had a good eye for lighting and things that really can make or brake a picture. I recently decided to elevate my picture taking to the next level, and combine what I know about dancing to my love of photography.
I love to take pictures of things in movement, especially dancers. I think that dancers are amazing when it comes to taking a great picture. The whole idea behind the art of dancing is to make it look easy. So, to combine that idea and capturing them in their world, has always been exciting for me.
Another area of interest is the human body, and what better way to show it then in its purest form. I have taken my knowledge of dancing and knowing what amazing shapes the body can make, and applied that to my desire to show the human body in its true beauty.
In today's society, I think that we all are so caught up in our day to day life that we forget to take the time to look at the amazing things that have been built all around us. So, I want to remind people, and myself, of the great architecture that people have poured their lives into.
